How to Backup and Restore Google Pixel / Pixel XL [Pixel 2 / Pixel 2 XL]
The Google Pixel and Pixel XL, Google’s first self-branded smartphones, features many great features including unlimited photo and video storage. It automatically makes a full resolution copy of every picture you take.
Other unlimited automatic backup features of the Google Pixel or Pixel XL includes Google Calendar and Google Contacts. The smartphones also let you automatically back up as much as 25 MB of data per app from:
- Apps and app data
- Device settings
- Call history
- SMS text messages
turn automatic backup on or off:
Step 1: Go to your device’s Settings app.
Step 2: Go under Personal to tap on Backup and Reset.
If you want to backup data and settings, tap Device backup>Back up to Google Drive. For photos and videos, tap Photos backup>backup and sync.
Backup onto your computer
