How to Delete iPhone Voicemail Messages
Apple’s new iPhone goes beyond just offering voicemail for those of you who’d rather just let your voicemail pick up the call than answer it yourself. Apple’s transcript feature transcribes your voicemails. It’s like having your own personal assistant to handle your calls.
There’s a catch. Depend on it too much and those voicemails begin occupying too much space on your phone, sometimes slowing it down. It may be time to delete voicemails you don’t need in order to make room for new. Like that friend whom you’re avoiding who always calls to see if you want to stop for coffee.

Step 2: Tap on the Voicemail icon from the menu on the bottom and select the Voicemail option in your phone’s button right corner.
Step 3: Choose which voicemail you want to delete and tap on it. If you are using the transcript feature, you can read over the transcript first to make sure it’s one you want to delete.
Step 4: You will find three options below the play button, including Speaker, Call Back and Delete. If you’re ready to delete it, let’s continue.
Step 5: Tap on Delete to finish deleting the voicemail.
Another option is to swipe from right to left on a voicemail to delete it. Once you swipe, you will see a delete button on the right. Tap on the button to continue deleting the voicemail.

Step 2: Tap on Voicemail.
Step 3: Your Voicemail list will show an option titled Deleted Messages. This is the space they occupy after you delete them but before you clear them permanently. This give you one more chance to decide whether or not to completely delete them. Want to proceed?
Step 4: Find the Clear All button and tap on it to completely delete the voicemails from your phone.
Some users have reported that they can’t click on the Clear All button because it is grayed out or disabled. If so, you can also use your phone carrier’s website to clear your voicemails. Another option is to reset network settings by going to Settings>General>Reset.
