Just in case you may want to check with your wireless provider to see if you are up to date on paying your bills or there is a problem with their system.

See if Airplane Mode is disabled

Airplane Mode is a sort of “do not disturb” feature for your smartphone. You don’t receive notifications or phone calls while in Airplane Mode. This is convenient if you are in a meeting, a movie theater or another place where you do not want to be disturbed.

To see if your phone is in Airplane mode:

Step 5: Toggle the switch to off.

Check the signal bars

Your phone relies on the closest wireless tower to receive signals and make calls. It’s always smart to check the signal bars on your smartphone. This will let you know if your Pixel or Pixel XL is receiving a signal and how strong of a signal it is.

If you have no signal and you are sure you paid your phone bill or have a load, reset your smartphone in case if you have a glitch. Before you proceed, make sure your smartphone is backed up. If so, follow these instructions to reset your device to factory settings.

Step 1: Go to Settings from the Notification section.
