How To Use Private Mode Turn On/Off on Note 8

Samsung Note has feature where you can keep files only to yourself. The Private Mode is vital to protects some of the personal information you have to your phone from leaking to applications. You can help prevent any identity theft by enabling Private Mode. Private mode is known in the Note 8 as the Secure Folder, so don’t get confused as they are the same thing.

How To Use Private Mode on Samsung Note 8:

Turn on Private Mode:

  • While your device is on, drag down from the top of your screen.
  • Select Secure Folder.
  • You’ll be given introductory tutorials on how to use, and you will be requested for a code.

Turn off Private Mode:

  • Drag down from the top of your screen.
  • Select Secure Folder.
  • You will be able to return to standard mode.

Add And Remove files from Secure folder;

  • Enable Secure Folder.
  • Select Overflow menu Button on the top right corner.
  • Select the files you want to in the secure folder.
  • Select the option to move to private.

Now you can choose your files to add to the secure folder. You can protect all the information you have.
